We serve Chinese-American cuisine across Dim Sum, Vegetables, Noodles & Rice, Mains, and Desserts - a retrospective of the Formosa's culinary evolution since the 1920s, led by Executive Chef Dan Huerta.
Yes! Our menu features clearly marked vegetarian and vegan options. Vegan dishes include Crispy Spring Rolls, Veggie Bao Dumpling, Fried Tofu, General Tso's Cauliflower, Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts, Asian Greens, and Vegan Chocolate Cake with Yuzu Sorbet. Several other dishes, including the Formosa Chow Fun and Spicy Wok Fried Rice, can also be made vegan upon request.
Yes! We have a number of gluten-free dishes on our menu, including Marinated Cucumbers, Walnut Shrimp, General Tso's Cauliflower, Fried Tofu, Crab Rangoon Dip, Steak + Broccolini, and Formosa Chow Fun. Some additional dishes also have a gluten-free option available upon request.
Some of our standout dishes include the Crab Rangoon Dip, Chinese BBQ Pork (great for sharing, serves 2–4), Walnut Shrimp, Spicy Dan Dan Mian, and our Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings. We recommend coming hungry!

Our Biàndāng Box ($24) is a weekday lunch special available Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Pick two proteins, one base, and two sides - a great way to sample a little bit of everything.
Yes! We call it Golden Hour - available every day from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Enjoy $10 cocktails, $10 food bites, $8 daily wine, and $5 daily beer. It's the perfect way to experience the Formosa without breaking the bank.
Yes. Desserts include Fried Sesame Balls & Taro Ice Cream ($12), Apple Cinnamon Wonton with caramel, Nutella, and pecan crumbles over ice cream ($12), Chocolate Xiao Long Bao with milk chocolate filling and vanilla cream dipping sauce ($15), and Vegan Chocolate Cake with Yuzu Sorbet ($12). The sesame balls and ice cream can also be ordered separately for $6 each.

Highlights include John Wayne's Hat (smoked with applewood), the Green Tea Martini, White Lotus, Blood Moon, and the Lucky Dragon Bowl - a smoked rum punch for two or more. Yes! Our 1933 Group Classic Cocktails feature private barrel selections - including an Old Fashioned with Old Forester 1933 Private Barrel, a Manhattan with WhistlePig 1933 Private Barrel, and a Margarita with Codigo Rosa 1933 Private Barrel.

Yes! We serve two sake options - Murai Family Sugidama Junmai Ginjo and Yuki Tora Snow Tiger Nigori. Our beer selection includes Boomtown Mic Czech Pilsner on draft, plus a range of cans and bottles including Tsingtao, Stone Delicious IPA, Smog City Citrus Blonde, and a non-alcoholic option.
